Overview
InquiryPulse ("the App") is a business CRM built by Varshan Prakaash M ("we," "us," or "our") for loan DSA (Direct Selling Agent) teams to track client loan inquiries. The App is distributed directly to a client organization and is not published on the Google Play Store.
Because the App stores sensitive personal and financial data entered by the client organization's own staff, this policy explains exactly what is collected, where it is stored, and who can access it.
Information the App Stores
The App stores information that the client organization's staff enter directly, including:
- Applicant contact details (name, phone number)
- Property and loan details (loan amount, terms, property information)
- Financial details relevant to the loan inquiry (e.g. income, CIBIL score)
- Pipeline status, notes, and an audit timeline of changes made by team members
- A checklist of which KYC, property, and financial documents have been collected — this is metadata only; the App does not store document photos or file attachments
How Data Is Stored and Synced
All data is stored locally on the device. To let a team share data across multiple phones, the App syncs data to the client organization's own Google Drive account, using Google Drive's hidden, app-private storage area (the "appDataFolder"), which is not visible in the user's regular Drive files and is not accessible to other apps.
The developer does not operate a central server, and does not have access to any data stored in the client organization's Google Drive.
Team Access Model
The App is designed for a small team that signs in with one shared organizational Google account. Each team member selects their own identity (which executive they are) after signing in. All team members can see all client records — there is currently no separate admin/executive data-visibility split.
Because access is controlled entirely by whoever holds the credentials to the organization's shared Google account, the client organization is responsible for controlling access to that account.
What the App Does Not Collect
- No document photos or file attachments
- No GPS or location tracking
- No contact list access or scraping
- No call or SMS log access
- No advertising or analytics tracking
- No data sent to the developer's servers — data only syncs to the client's own Google Drive
- No automatic sharing of client data with third parties
Permissions Used
The App requests Google Sign-In and Google Drive access (limited to its own app-private storage area) to enable sync and backup, along with local notification permission for follow-up reminders. It does not request camera, location, contacts, call log, or SMS permissions.
Sharing Features
The App lets a user manually share a text summary of a client record via WhatsApp or any other app installed on the device, using Android's standard share function. This only happens when a user actively chooses to share — the App does not do this automatically.
Data Controller
The client organization using InquiryPulse is the data controller for the client and financial information entered into the App, and is responsible for using that data in compliance with applicable data protection laws. This policy describes how the App itself technically handles data, not how the client organization uses it.
Children's Privacy
InquiryPulse is a business tool intended for use by adult staff of a loan DSA team. It is not directed at children, and is not intended to collect information from children.
Data Retention and Deletion
Data persists on the device and in the client organization's Google Drive until it is deleted by a user or the app is uninstalled. Because the developer does not operate a server, there is no developer-held copy of client data to separately delete.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
